WHO AM I?
Hi! My name is Luis Batiz, and my life goal is to help people! I am a native English coach from the USA, and I have been teaching English for 10+ years to students in the USA, the UK, Canada and Mexico.
I studied International Business Administration in the USA and received the prestigious Ray Kroc award for excellent business operations (top 1% out of 14,000 managers). I was even invited to help improve operations for over 550 business locations! One of the reasons why I won that award was because I was able to effectively train and develop people.

I soon found my next passion in teaching English! I have always loved meeting new people and training, so this was perfect! I have taught students of all ages and from all walks of life. I am able to draw from my vast teaching experience to help students reach their goals.

I hold many Cambridge certifications for English teaching, and I have gotten a C2 in each of the main international English tests (IELTS, TOEFL iBT, CAE). Based on my test experience, I simulate real-world test conditions for my students, so they do not get nervous on their exam date.

I owe my success as an English teacher to my training in business, which focuses on achieving results. I believe I am an excellent teacher because I customize all my classes based on my students' goals, personalities and opportunities.

Business Consulting
I love the challenge of creating, improving or fixing a business! I see business as a puzzle that needs to be assembled correctly in order to get the desired results. I love helping budding entrepreneurs and big companies overcome their business obstacles!
Art
I have a passion for all kinds of art, but creating with porcelain is my favorite! It is the most soothing hobby! In order to transform the porcelain, you need to "listen" to the porcelain and apply just the right amount of pressure to get the best results!
Reading
I firmly believe that the key to having empathy in the world is obtained through reading. I love reading about people's successes, failures, cultures, and ideas. This unending appetite for reading allows me to understand my students in so many levels.
Exercise
Regular exercise allows me to have a high level of energy in all my classes. It also allows me to reflect on my current and future projects. A healthy body is essential for a healthy mind!
